ABOUT ME

Some words about me :)I'm Antigone! I currently stay in Bradford, because of my studies. I grew up in a quiet and pleasant suburb of Athens (capital), 10 minutes drive from the city centre and 10 from the sea. I love playing tennis, travelling with every chance, strolling around observing anything beautiful or strange... I studied "Aesthetics and cosmetology" in Athens' technical institute and I moved to the UK to continue my studies.
I've learned about this site from some people I met, who are members, and the first think I did was to check it and create a profile here, cause it seemed soo interesting. It was definitely one of the best things I've done cause I met great people, thanks to it!

I really like sports, I play tennis and I attend some dance lessons:) I also like drawing! I'm not that good at it, but I spend time every now and then to draw a portrait or a still life! Nature can fascinate me some times! As I live in a big city, seasonal changes aren't so clear, that's why I love to go small trips within every season in the countryside:D
I love travelling abroad meeting new people to discover different mentalities and cultures! I used to travel with my family, but lately, that I've grown up at last, I travel also alone or with friends, if hey are willing to travel as I am.. It's difficult to find a company in these cases sometimes, anyway!

Musica, film e libri

I love listening to classic music (Chopin, Vivaldi, Mendelssohn,Tschaikowsky and many many others) and rock (pink floyd, king Crimson, Jethro Tull etc.) The most of the hours of my day, I'm listening to music, whatever I do at the same time! who can live without music, anyway??

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

All my trips were unforgetable experiences!! All the sceneries I saw, the people I met, the dishes I tasted... By best experience ever was when I ve been to Kyoto and the grandpas of a Japanese pen pal of mine, hosted me to their house for some days. To observe their life inside there house was unbelievable!
