Back to couchsurfing!When I lived in Vienna I had a very intense couchsurfing time, I travelled a lot and hosted many people which was a wonderful experience! Then I got to know the man of my dreams and I moved from Vienna, where I grew up, to a little village called Mariazell, which is situated on the foothills of the Alps. Mariazell is a famous place of pilgrimage and a wonderful place to live!
I decided to reactivate my couchsurfing profile, because I often thought back to the many couchsurfing experiences and I kind of missed all the intercultural encounters, the interesting talks and the fun I had with people from around the world!

In my opinion, hospitality is one of the greatest human virtues!
People who share this attitude will always be welcome in our house! Sure, Mariazell is not a metropolis, but it is a very beautiful village,a famous place of pilgrimage, rich in history and tradition and sourrounded by a wonderful landscape with endless possibilities of outdoor activities: In winter skiing,sledding, ice skating, nordic skiing and so on and in summer hiking, mountainbiking, swimming, horse riding..
So if you want to immerse into a piece of genuine rural Austrian tradition and culture you are right here with us! Mariazell is only two hours away from major cities like Graz and Vienna!
