About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Awareness and fun through change: people, places.
ABOUT ME
I've decided life is for living and I don't want to reach the end feeling like I missed out on doing something that I wanted to do. Meeting new people is as big a part of that as traveling is. I am addicted to change: new people, new places, new food...
Aside from that, I'm an easy-going and open-minded guy with an obsession for music, and art. I'm a graphic designer by trade with the desire to move into music. I'm also in the process of starting my own design business.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is short
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now my participation is basic: meeting up for coffee/drinks, or sharing a couch. As I get more involved I'd certainly be interested in seeing how much I can help.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Been on a couple couches and met a ton of amazing people through this site. This really is a great community. I am looking forward to sharing my couch when I arrive back home.
Interests
Love music, love anthropology and sociology. I want to help change the world for the better. I really believe that the internet and sites like couchsurfing are helping make that happen.

Music, Movies, and Books
I've kind of become one of those pretentious 'indie' lovers. It's sad to see the mainstream cater so strongly to the lowest common denominator. Transformers 2 was the big action hit where the thoughtful 'Moon' was relatively unnoticed.
Music is the same, though I appreciate a lot more of the mainstream there. I'm all over the board. One of the main reasons I want to meet more people is to get to know more music.
I've usually got my nose in some kind of philosophical or political nonsense. Probably something about Carl Jung or Communism.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visiting the ruins of Pompeii was the most amazing moment of my life. It's like seeing a planet with your own eyes for the first time. I knew people have been on this planet for countless years, but it didn't really hit home until I saw such extensive evidence of their normal lives. It was humbling and enlightening all at once. Almost made me feel like I could reach out through this endless moment and touch someone somehow still living in the Pompeii world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a pro in the field of graphic design and love doing little projects for people - especially my hosts!
