Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to not die in Belgium
ABOUT ME
A few potentially useless factoids:
I can swing dance. I can use a micropipette. I love kretek and krtek. I understand what "ontology" means. And I am known to regularly break wine glasses (but I will be careful with yours!)
PHILOSOPHY
Too much to choose from...that's why I've chosen to study philosophy full-time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When travelling in a new place, I think it's important to get a sense of the everyday culture there. I'd rather see where people eat, drink, work, shop, and so on, than go to museums or monuments. i didn't even go to the Eiffel Tower in Paris!
And of course I'd be happy to return the favour in my hometown.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have stayed with a couple of people while here in Europe, and so far all of my experiences were very positive.
Interests
I like to talk effusively. I like to dance obscure dances (Charleston, anyone?) Badly drawn cartoons make me laugh. I love being in big cities - how they feel and look. I like all delicious foods, from magret de canard to cheap breakfast cereal.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: indie-ish stuff (Royksopp, Twin Shadow, Whitest Boy Alive); folky stuff (Sufjan Stevens, Sean Nicholas Savage) trip-hop stuff (Bonobo, Zero 7,Cinematic Orchestra); old jazz (Django Reinhart, Sidney Bechet, Billie Holiday); some classical stuff (Rachmaninoff, Debussy,Vaughan Williams).
Movies and books....too tough to choose.
