Hi, my name is Anthony Lawrence and my artist alias is Antoine Don. I am a music producer, guitarist, audio engineer and artist consultant. Music, business and growth is my life and I seek to build relationships with like-minded individuals. Having a positive attitude, being courteous to your fellow man, and professionalism are important to me. Most of my time is spent creating music, consulting with artists, improving myself and building my business.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because music and acting are my dream. After many failures finding artists I could really build and create something great with, I've decided to move to the location that can make it all happen, the city of angels, Los Angeles. I'm here in L.A. for 3 reasons to pursue my music dream, acting dream, and build a wide network of creative & professional individuals. I moved here on October 31st of 2016 and currently have no job, or place to live. I'm using Couchsurfing.com to help me get on my feet and get established in the city.

#1 Musical artists should always make sure to perform with the microphone an inch or two away from their mouth for clearer sound.

#2 You do not need a manager at the very beginning of your career. Discover your sound, perfect it, gain constant good validation, and once your phone and emails are blowing up, that's when it's time to hire a manager.

#3 When performing live, always make sure to have a "Live" version of your songs that does not contain background vocals. This will help you to be heard a lot clearer in venues.
