Hi !

I'm a 22 year-old French apprentice in photonics (image processing, optical design,...) in Renault, a car constructor. I attended Institut d'Optique Graduate School in the Plateau de Saclay, south of Paris.
Outside my professional carreer, I'm a curious young man with many various hobbies, from science (especially in light) to history and politcs.
Until now, I mainly satisfy my overriding curiosity by readings, my studies & work and my financial situation didn't let me more than some days for travelling.

I planned to take three weeks for discovering UK this summer, with my 20 year-old brother. I admit my choice is motivated by recent news beyond the Channel. I am deeply impressed by the English pragmatism which allow a real and national debate on EU' belonging, independently of the result we will learn in some weeks. My respect came from the contrast with France where nowadays a similar national debate and referendum seems impossible as EU's membership became a dogma.

I impatiently wait for the 20th June, date where I will take the boat ! See you soon :)

I am on Couchsurfing for discovering new ways to travel, with deeper immersion in country I visit.
I hope I will meet people ready to talk about their country and share good moments with a curious young man.
