About Me
A curious specimen of human life 🤸
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm traveling around Middle East for a few months and I'm looking forward to meet welcoming, curious and open-minded people - meeting locals being the best way to discover a country
Interests
Rock climbing - I've been climbing all sorts of things ever since I was a kid.
I'm also a struggling wanna-be sax player - but you probably don't wanna hear that.
Books of all kinds and all sizes.
Music, Movies, and Books
Terry Gilliam, Jodorowsky, Kurosawa, Korean movies, Lynch, Cohen brothers, Tarantino, "Black Dynamite" and a few Nicolas Cage pictures (guilty pleasure).
I listen to many kinds of music but I have a soft spot for '90s hip hop and weird, unclassified world music.
If I had to take one book on a desert island, that would probably be Citadel from Antoine St Exupery (to think) and Mangeclous from Cohen (to have a good laugh).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent 4 months in Malawi (Central Africa) as a volunteer. Picked up that specific NGO because it actually empowers local people (they have now taken the place over) instead of nurturing them.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love a good conversation and am always eager to learn and share what I've learned - whether it's about culture, ways of life, music, great books, food, or the deeper meaning of the universe. I'd be happy to tell you a thing or two about my home country - and maybe make you want to pay a visit someday
What I Can Share with Hosts
Always down to share good stories and to confront with new perspectives.
I'm a terrible cook, but I love to eat (i'm French after all) and I can do the dishes
Countries I’ve Visited
Armenia, Australia, Cambodia, Cuba, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Morocco, Peru, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey, United Kingdom
Countries I’ve Lived In
Brazil, France, Malawi
