I'm a young lazy English teacher living in the South of France (Toulouse) with my girlfriend, who works for migrants' rights. We are both laid back and easy going. We enjoy talking, cooking and going out but don't expect us to party hard, that's not our thing !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was more active on Couchsurfing as a student, I traveled a bit and hosted some people in Toulouse and sometimes stayed in contact and met them in diferent places. It's really cool to connect with new people, especially abroad.

Interests

I have always been passionate about languages, I like practicing whenever it's possible. I love music and I play the guitar. I like reading in foreign languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese), so your advice is welcome if you have some new ideas! I also enjoy watching films, doing sports (basketball), hiking. I've been a "helper" a few times, meaning I helped people or small businesses in exchange for a place to sleep and eat. I love it, it's really a good way to travel and meet people and feel useful. Unfortunately I don't always have the time to do that!

I like cooking, but I definitely need to learn new tips and recipes. I especially love pouring a huge amount of soy sauce on veggies in the frying pan, and then pretend it wasn't so much.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have a limited taste in music, meaning that I'm always eager to discover new genres. However there many things I don't enjoy , like dance music, french pop music, commercial music... I would rather listen to good old music, rock music, psychedelic rock, folk music, heavy metal bossa nova, classical music, jazz music...

I watch quite a lot of movies in original versions, but it is even harder to describe my tastes. I especially enjoy the movies with a good music in it, well adapted to the movie. I like slow and crazy movies that make me experience new sensations.

I like English litterature especially and I read in foreign languages most of the time.
