CURRENT MISSION

I work in South West of France, and live in Bayonne. I just arrived here few months ago (before I was traveling, and before I was living in north of France) and I spend my free time visiting around and hiking in the mountains.
I would be happy to meet new people, to share a drink, to host you, to help you visit this nice area.

ABOUT ME

Well I consider myself as an open-minded person. I love to meet new people and chat about anything with them.

Definitely in love with music (world music, rock, modern, classic, jazz, blues, a bit of everything!) and cultural events in general. I play bass guitar and am learning contrebasse now.

I also spend a lot of my free time having drinks with my friends in parcs, bars, gigs,... (As far as I grew up in North of France, I am in love with beer too)

And for sure I love travelling, withut plans, meeting local people, enjoying the nature... I traveled about a year in wonderful Asia last year.

PHILOSOPHY

I just want to be happy. I definitely am not a materialist people. Try to share a maximum of time with people, to create links with others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can host if I'm free , but i have to admit that recently my schedule was busy as hell...
I already hosted people when I was living in Lille and I surfed while I was traveling in Asia last year.
If I have time I would be happy to spend it with you to go around or share a drink / a meal.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I knew the community through friends who are used to it.
I hosted some people in Lille and surfed some couches in East Europe, Iran, Turkey and Armenia

Basically what i love is :
- Food & Drinks (if you want me to try to cook something French, no problem !!! And I will be also very happy to try local food from you )
- Chatting, meeting people
- Travelling in the world, without plans, just listening to advice from other people
- Hiking

I traveled one year in Asia and fell in Love with Persian culture. I am now learning Persian so I will be able to travel even better for my next trips in Iran.

Primavera Music Festival 2012 in Barcelone,
Travelling around Corsica by boat
Hiking in Omani wadis
Trekking in the Himalayas in Nepal and in India
Meditating with noble silence for 10 years in India (crazy experience !!!)
Supporting Traktor Tabriz football team in Tabriz stadium in Iran and being interrogated by the police for an hour about it.
Visiting the downest and warmest place on earth Dallol, Ethiopia), and hiking there for hours during night escorted by military and police to see a lava lake !!!

I would love to talk about music or art-related stuff.
And I enjoy cooking (really !!!), I would be happy to prepare a meal for you if you want.

Also I would be very happy to talk with you about environemental & health issues related to chemicals if you are interested in it. That's my field of expertise. But usually it can be a little bit boring.

I am learning Persian, so if you can speak Persian, you are more than welcome
