About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Part-time student in Literature and part-time traveller, I got the awesome opportunity to be a TA in French in Harvard this year!

ABOUT ME

I somehow found myself studying and working in Lyon, France, then in the UK and in Mexico. Now I'm in Harvard, I plan to finish my training as a French teacher and stay there until June 2016, after which I'll keep on with teaching.

Meeting new people, getting lost in a new city, talking about any stuff are some of the main reasons I get in touch with people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Good laughs, the opportunity of meeting people around the world, exchange experiences and learning from other people.

Interests

Theatre. Literature (needless to say). Lousy references to pop culture. News. Cinema. The subtle art of climbing stairs step by step following Julio Cortazar's instructions. (you'll need to ask me if you want to know about this one.) Philosophy.
Any talk randomly related to any of this or else.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

With my friend Marcello Koze (also on Couchsurfing) I found myself stuck at the south of Mexico after someone robbed my passport and all my money. It took us three days, but with only 10 dollars to share we hitchhiked our way back from Chetumal to Mexico City, all across Tabasco, Veracruz and Puebla. From this bad start we made a really good trip, chatting all night long with no less than 10 truck drivers, witnessing their great generosity, sleeping in the back of the trucks, seeing the awesome mountains of Veracruz...

Also, swimming in the waters of Chacahua, where the sea shines at night with bioluminescent plancton...

Teach, Learn, Share

French slang on demand and literature mostly. I need to precise in advance that I'm awful at recommending books, as strange as it seems. Yet I have a very accurate theoretical knowledge of some French cuisine although practical outcomes somehow prove theories inaccurate.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Everything about the places I've visited so far.

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, Iceland, Italy, Mexico, Togo, Tunisia
