CURRENT MISSION
Sharing beauty and compassion to the world through music!
ABOUT ME
I am a 28 years-old Canadian classical harpist I moved back to Montréal three years ago, after spending 2 years in the United States and two years in France to do two masters degree. I am fluent in French and English. I am a calm, mature, respectful, easygoing, non-smoking, and friendly person who enjoys music, nature, good food, getting a nice drink once in a while and learning about new ways of seing life through different cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love visiting new countries and think that it's a much more human and insightful way to learn about a city to meet one of it's residents than just staying in a hotel.
I have lived with roommates during many years in different countries. I have had many guests that have stayed with us from all over the world for a few nights at our apartment, and I always seem to get along with everyone, so I thought I'd try it out for myself by couchsurfing!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Ok, I do love classical music, but also any kind of good music! I do love jazz, and am a new fan of electronic and experimental music.
As a musician I love doing contemporary creations to mix different live arts, such a music, theater, light-design, etc. I also play Early music, which is the music of different periods of Europe.
Books: a bit of everything; French literature, English fantastic literature, ancient Asian philosophy and sacred texts (I am discovering the Bagavad-Gita these days), French symbolist poetry.
Movies & TV: Any movie by Zhang Yimou (Hero, House of Flying daggers), old but beautiful classics, and once in a why a silly but entertaining American action movie! I am a Doctor Who fan, and love watching science-fiction series on Netflix!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had the chance to tour Canada twice, once as a soloist with the National Youth Orchestra of Canada. What a thrill that was!
Teach, Learn, Share
I know quite a few recipes that are worth sharing :)
I also love talking about music, and can answer any question you could have about life as a musician, classical music in general or the history of music.
I really like to learn a few words at least of new langages, may it be your mother tongue, or the langage of the country that I am visiting.
