Learning the culture of my new country, learning about whatever I can along the way.

ABOUT ME

I'm half French, half Norwegian, and have lived in Norway since I was seven. I recently moved to Bristol to work as an electronics engineer.

I'm interested in music and film, and I've been making music since I was 18. It's one of my big passions, and I hope to combine my hobby and my work in the future, and work with music technology.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to continually expand my horizon, and am always interested in hearing other people's views. I'm always up for a discussion, if people are interested in exchanging ideas.

I try to absorb any knowledge I come across (as long as it's something I care about), and enjoy seeing things from new perspectives, or in new contexts.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've participated in hosting, and have met several people who have been couch surfing. I hope to host more, and surf myself in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After hosting a few surfers, and traveling around Europe, attending CS meet-ups whenever I could, I can honestly say I've only had good experiences with it. Couchsurfers have so far all been interesting and easy going people, that I've enjoyed hanging out with.

Music:
Steely Dan, Kraftwerk, Pink Floyd, Built to Spill, Pavement, Nas, Sonic Youth, The Pixies, Murs, A Tribe Called Quest, MF Doom, Keith Jarrett, Autechre, Tortoise, etc.

I enjoy rock, electronic music, jazz, hip hop and metal. I'm open to many genres, and like music that shows me something new.

Movies:
SLC Punk, The Man From Earth, Porco Rosso, Un Prophète, Pulp Fiction, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Caché, The Shawshank Redemption, Sideways, The King of Kong, etc.

I like many types of movies, especially well written ones. I enjoy good dialogue, and interesting characters. I anjoy art films, as long as they keep me entertained.

Slaughterhouse Five, Jitterbug Perfume, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Ender's Game, The Outsiders

I read a moderate amount of books, I do most of my reading on the internet.
