Overview
About Me
I moved to Stockholm from France at the beginning of 2017. I was amazed by this city, its nature, people, architecture, and an exciting job, so I decided to stay ... and here I am!
Last minute requests are the best (a few days) because I never know what I will be doing in more than one week.
Low carbon (🚂🚲) and/ or slow travels will get my preference over cheap flights weekend trips 😊
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Same as everybody here! Altruism is of the most satisfying feelings, and makes the world a better place.
Interests
Traveling, outdoor activities as hiking, biking, rock climbing and bouldering. I enjoy going to concerts and any kind of events, sometimes reading books and watching films or series.
I try to care for the environment as much as possible, by eating vegetarian or vegan, using the bike, reducing any material consumption and limiting flights.
I was a lot into DIY projects, especially woodworking like making toys and furniture. Unfortunately I don't have all the equipment I had back in France, so these activities are a bit in standby right now.
And a big passion for science and engineering! for now I'm working with marine renewable energy which is a very interesting and pioneering sector.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A 6 weeks hitchhiking road trip in Canada, during summer 2014. I was alone and doing it was the best initiative in my life so far! Don't start asking about it or you'll have to keep listening to me for hours.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can provide you with some tips for your stay in Stockholm, such as nice places to watch sunsets, good museums, Archipelago excursions, or "fika" places. (You'll know very quickly what fika is!)
I am a vegetarian and like to cook and discover new recipes. My specialties include "quiche aux oignons" (onion pie) and veggie lasagna.
I'm quite passionate about sustainability, engineering and science, but I also like talking about many other things, including politics, sociology, languages, psychology and philosophy,... etc.
