About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Enjoying life by travelling, making extrem sports, and try to help people who need it to live in a better way thanks to sustainable rural electrification solutions

ABOUT ME
Born in France, but now feeling me as a citizen of the world.

In 13' 14', I was travelling around the world with one of my best friend, Amaury. We met people who develop innovative eco-friendly solutions in developing countries (Asia, Central and South America). But we also lived crazy adventures, trying enjoy each day as an adventure!

I'm now living between France and Africa (mostly Sénégal), working for a french start-up. Our goal is to improve life of people living in rural areas of developing countries, developing access to energy using solar rural electrification solutions. Amazing professional and personal experience !

PHILOSOPHY
Earth is so huge that I can't stay a long time in the same place. There are so many different people and places on Earth that I need to travel everywhere to meet them, learn from them and share my personnal experience with them. People don't born equals on Earth, but it still possible to help people, improving their life to a minimum of vital comfort...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sharing this amazing concept with every people I cross during my travels! And also sharing couches when I'm at home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Starting to surf during my worldtrip, I start to have experience, and continue to improve it in France, as a coucher!
At the moment, only very nice and friendly people host me!

Interests

* Laura, my wife, with whom I enjoy sharing life in all shapes and forms

* my work to develop sustainable development which make me feel useful. Sustainable development ? "development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."

* travelling which make me discover and understand needs and resources around the world. Doesn't matter where, most important is how and which who! I love extrem climates, especially mountains, forests, snow, and appreciate to discover and to test new places. Living in West Africa now is a real challenge : hot, flat and humid place, for me who love cold and dry mountains...

* extrem sports which make me feel alive ! Skiing, snowboarding, climbing, sailing, cycling (downhill, dirt-jumping, freeride, slopestyle), ... But I also start to surf and dive, and would like to try free-ski, base-jumping and kite-surfing!

* I also love doing things with my hands (not that, you little pervertˆˆ): building wood stuffs for exemple is my favorite one!

* Last thing : I can't stay more than two month in a place without buying a motorbike. For me, it's synonym of liberty and pleasure !

Music, Movies, and Books

Any kind of songs and movies, only depend on the moment.
Books? I don't use to read a lot, but I promise I will try in the future, especially for personal development (discovering business world by my own for example). Done! During my world-trip I started to read a bit more than before, and apprecated it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life is amazing if you try to live each day as an adventure, if you know how to enjoy every single moment of you life, and if you know how to detect positive points of each situation.
Thus I haven't got any "amazing thing done", I just try to make each day amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

As an old indian sage taught me one day : after 18, stop studying at school, just go on the street and learn live by your own. That the best, cheapest and efficient way to learn!
