Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I figure the best way to learn about a new place is by meeting a local.

There are also great events on the Couchsurfing website, and I'm taking it as an opportunity to practice languages, and learn more about the world (in my own backyard as well).

Interests

I am interested in many things. I enjoy speaking about societies, the environment, natural sciences, philosophy, music and poetry. I'm not big on Hollywood, celebrities or pop culture however...not unless its internet pop culture and cat memes (in moderation).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Performing on stage in a foreign language. One experience I will never forget!

Also - skating on the world's longest skating rink in Ottawa, Canada (the Rideau Canal). It was worth mentioning :)
