Overview
About Me
I live in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. I am a law student attending John Marshall Law School.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Currently, I'm really commuting. I live in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, but I have an internship in Uptown. Commuting by car would take around three hours one way when you consider traffic and trying to find parking. I can't afford to stay in a hostel every week, so I am couchsurfing within Chicago to lessen the commute and also network. I figured it would be a good way to hit two birds with one stone, so to speak.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not really a music / movie type of person. I'll listen to any music, even country. It's been so long since I have watched any movies or television that when I do view it, it comes off as quite surreal. All the books I've been reading have been law books. I like "The Good Earth" and "A People's History of the United States." Currently, I am reading "The New Jim Crow - Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness," by Michelle Alexander.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was a protester during the Occupy Wall Street movement in Washington, DC. I lived in a tent for several months. Then went hitchhiking around the country with my partner.
