Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have friends that host often and I would like to give it a try.

Interests

I spend a good deal of my time reading and writing.

As a visitor, I enjoy walking through towns and cities to get a feel for the pulse of the place. The slow pace of walking allows me to wander, witness and make spur of the moment decisions which typically result in fruitful interactions.

I enjoy time at the local library and well lit coffee shop - though I prefer the aroma to the taste, as I don't drink coffee ofter.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a mixture of hiphop, Miles Davis and Bach.

Films by Bergman, Fellini, Pontecorvo, Kubrick and Michelangelo Antonioni.

Orwell, Huxley, Zola, Chomsky, Klein, Postman, Mumford, Russell and others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I attended a course on Earthship Biotechture / building in 2013.

I was fortunate to have been able to be present at #NoDAPL efforts at Standing Rock in 2016.

I've jumped off a 70-75 ft cliff into a lake.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I possess above average culinary skills.
