One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Supported my (by now) good friend's organization for helping young women in Uganda with menstrual hygiene
- Which is much more important than it might sound -

- because of inhibited awareness and acceptance, along with poor economic opportunity, many many young women in Busia, Uganda (among many other places) are forced to stay out of school and work because of their menstruation. They (ASHWA) work hard to educate and teach on this. They teach girls to make their own pads, and much more.
