Hey there! I’m a Mechanical Engineering student with a passion for how things work — whether that’s a complex machine, a cultural tradition, or the way people think. I love meeting new faces and hearing stories from all corners of the world. I love when people tell me about their passion and what drives them.

I’d describe myself as curious, open-minded, and pretty easygoing. I enjoy good conversation just as much as a comfortable silence, and I’m always up for spontaneous plans.

When I’m not studying you’ll find me being active outdoors — I love to go cycling with friends or also alone, whenever I can. Also I’m a passionate Sailplane pilot and love to go gliding on weekend or at good weather:)

I’m genuinely fascinated by technology, science, and the big “why” behind it. But I don’t take myself too seriously. Life’s too short not to laugh, especially at the absurd little moments that travel tends to throw at you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During all my travels, I learned that you can get to know a culture or region much better if you spend some time with the locals. There is nothing more intense for me than direct contact with the locals.

Interests

In my Freetime, I love to go gliding and hanging up with friends on the airfield or in the student in which I am active. Furthermore, I like to go cycling and travels on which I love to make photos.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 15, my older Brother persuaded me, taking a bike trip trough the Czech republic. It was my first trip and went a whole week. During the tour I almost gave up. But after it, it was a really intense experience in my life and started my love to bike trips. Meeting so many friendly helpful people is just a great way to learn more about a county.
