My name is Anton, I work as IT developer at the American company that makes video games. I hope to be a part of the team that creates the new Doom or Mario one day:) but for now, I work on the very commercially secure projects, and trying to improve my skills.

When it goes to politics, I am very left-wing. While I am living in Russia, where the majority of people are ultraconservative, being like this makes an important part of my identity, so I feel more comfortable with the people who share the same views as me.

I like drinking and I am an irregular smoker, if you think those things are deadly sin, it doesn't seem like we are going to get along (but I am trying to stay open-minded to every opinion though)

First of all, I live in the apartment with two rooms and kinda get annoyed that the second one is not being used much right now so I want it to finally have some purpose, without getting sucked into any capitalist money relationship,

Second, I really enjoy meeting new interesting people and going out with them, showing them some awesome stuff

Third, I get kinda bored sometimes living alone. Don't have much experience with couchsurfing, but people say it's the way to go.

I am a complete pop culture geek, and that means I try to feel the heartbeat of the time I live in and to learn everything to know and how everything's connected.

My favourite artists (of the most famous ones) are Talking Heads, The Knife, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Joanna Newsom The Strokes, Elliot Smith, Daft Punk, Bjork and many, many more

My favourite movie directors are Lars von Trier, Noah Baumbach, Paul Thomas Anderson, David Lynch, Alfonso Cuaron and even more. Trying to follow everything that happens on the movie scene.

Favourinte book authors are Kafka, Orwell, Tolstoy, Brecht, love George Martin books. Ok, I think, tht's enough, I actually have a common taste with pretty much every person in the world, it seems :)

I really enjoy going out to bars. Speaking of the night life, St.Petersburg right now is really on par with the places like Amsterdam and Berlin, but with this unique Russian feeling about it, which is priceless. That makes it really different and delightful: I am yet to see a person who enjoys this sort of activity and who leaves St.Petersburg disappointed. And if you'd like to see the most of it, I am the person who you're looking for; just don't pass out prematurely.

Also, I love art and museums, and we have plenty of those, the classic as much as the contemporary. I really like to meet the people who are fond of those, because I can learn things from them, as much as the can learn from me.

And I love cooking, someone teach me how to properly do this.
