I have a cheerful heart, quick hands and a thoughtful spirit.

My youth and childhood were spent in Berlin but later I moved to the Northern German countryside. There I participated in the renovation of an old building, fell in love with the forest and acquired some skills in woodwork and carpentry.

My main profession is poetry — although it’s a patient one. It doesn’t pay for my bills right now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am very interested in different countries but tourism doesn't get you anywhere.

Music, Movies, and Books

Not easy to name the things I like. Children’s stories and fairy tales can get to me but also the serious literature all the way up to philosophy. Recently I read the Karamasows by Dostoevsky and was glad with joy about it.
