I love music, indie rock, lo fi and acid jazz in particular. I'm a trained drummer myself, also a keen amateur guitar player who enjoys singing but is polite enought no to do this frequently. I love art, movies and literature, prosecco and chilled cocktails, sometimes sophisticated food and always sophisticated talks about all of that. I am a husband to Viktoriia, who is a psychologist and фт abstract artist, and a father to Max, who is a 2nd grade student and a great lego enthusiast. We love hosting some chamber slow-style parties ending in moon track observation on the surface of the lake Ontario from our 15th floor balcony.

My wife and I (not very sure about our kid) love travelling. Outside Ukraine and it's part Crimean penninsular (which is our homeland) we have been to Barcelona, Paris, Milan, Rome, Vienna, Warsaw, Riga, Amsterdam, Montenegro. I've also travelled Belgium, Romania, Bulgaria and some more places. We didn't see much of Canada yet, so I hope Couchserfing is able to improve that fact.

In Music my greatest heroes as authors and performers are Nick Cave, David Sylvian and Tom Waits. The other favourites are the Beastie Boys, Medeski Martin and Wood, the Black Keys, Miles Davis, Cal Tjader, Gábor Szabó, Swans, John Scofield, John Zorn, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Dave Holland, John McLaughlin, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, the Black Angels, Stan Getz, Guy Blakeslee, John Frusciante, John Lurie, Brian Eno, Massive Attack, King Crimson, Sonic Youth, the Chemical Brothers and many more.
A few movies which are probably the most important to me are Pulp Fiction, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, the Dollar Trilogy, Taxi Driver, Trainspotting, La Haine, À bout de souffle and some others.
