Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why am I on couchsurfing?
Well, I'm not here because I'm looking for a free ride, I feel that like most CS members I'm here because I like to meet new people.
I'd much rather spend some time chilling with a host than taking my chances of bumping into a friendly person in the city I'm visiting.

When I'm not doing that I'm generally getting fit and training for marathons, I've currently ran 6 to date. However, not to sound too cliched, but travelling is my number one interest as I tend not to stay in the same place for a very long time. Aside from that I like all the run of the mill things like eating out, listening to music and watching films.

* Spent 2 winters in Thailand (Koh Samui && Chiang Mai). Headed up for Bali in 2017.
* Illegal rope jumping from a very high bridge with strangers in Ukraine.
* Hitchhiked across Germany and France.
* Volunteered in Iceland last December.
