About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to help people move and feel better. I am working as a personal trainer - that's actually my dream job. That has taught me a lot too.
I also teach Lithuanian as a foreign language online. I just love to see my students improve!
ABOUT ME
Wearing a hoodie doesn't make one a thief. Being silent doesn't make one sad. Searching for the answers to the questions which weren't asked doesn't make one a time-waster. Doing things which don't earn you money doesn't make one useless. Who's that one? You guess.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is a meaning itself and I am living it to the fullest, exploring myself and outer world to become the strongest version of myself and helping others on my way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I go to different cities and wash dishes there. Dishes of good people. Of interesting people. Of people you can't imagine and after getting to know them you can't forget. Of people who tend to open up during conversations as if they were your true old friends. Oh, did I mention washing dishes?
Interests
Movement. Holistic health. Drinking tons of black tea. Reading. Listening to music. Listening to languages. Hearing trains in my head. Walking barefoot. Not being able to walk without my backpack on. Looking at the water. Looking at the tired faces of people in the trolleybuses. Enjoying my freedom taking steps instead of escalator or elevator. Cities at night. Being totally indifferent when I can. Slowly filling my lungs with cool night air. Giving chocolates as presents to people I don't know. Finding peace in dish washing. Watching time fly. Thinking. Living.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a huge fan of Albert Camus (I can read "The Stranger" over and over again, I have alread read it in 4 different languages) and Ričardas Gavelis (a Lithuanian author you have never heard of). Also I like some Hermann Hesse's works (Steppenwolf, Demian etc.) as well as other writers who aren't widely known. I like the literature which makes you look at things differently, which offers you new ideas and which deepens your thoughts.
I am not a huge fan of watching movies, but some of my favourites are (in no particular order): The United States of Leland, Paris, One Eight Seven, Good Will Hunting, Pulp Fiction, Intouchables, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Shawshank Redemption, 12 Angry Men, Forrest Gump, City of God, Into the Wild, American History X, La Haine.
I don't limit myself and listen to the music which has a soul/vibe/groove/drive or simply matches my mood. It ranges from soul to hip-hop, from beats to instrumental with rock, reggae and all those I-don't-know-how-to-define-that-genre in between.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being born. You literally can't choose to be born or not, so if you are, you are among the lucky ones. So am I.
Teach, Learn, Share
Health is wealth and movement is the medicine. Sounds obvious, because it is obvious. Move. Explore. Live.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you basic movement principles and how your body works, how to improve your posture or relax after an 8 hours of sitting at work.
I also can share with you some language learning tips since I am a language lover myself.
