Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore Canadian East (driving all the way from Toronto to St. John's, NF)
ABOUT ME
I am recent immigrant. I came to Canada from Ukraine/Russia in 2009, and I strive to get to know this country. And the more I do, the more I fall in love with it.
I am a fiction writer (in Russian). And I gather stories of other people. Currently my skill does not pay much, and I work as a software developer.
PHILOSOPHY
Christian by tradition
Buddhist by practice
Pragmatic by belief
Use it or lose it - if you possess something you are not using, give it to someone who will. When I moved from Russia to Canada I gave out my bike, snowboard and other things to my friends.
We all should try to make other peoples' life easier.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am implementing my cross Canada trip step by step. Last Summer I drove all the way from Toronto to Newfoundland (through New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI) and back in 23 days.
In the end of October I moved to Calgary, and now I am headed to Vancouver.

Teach, Learn, Share
Everybody lives their own life doing their own job like various cells in complex social organism. Meeting people of other occupations is an eye-opener every single time; needless to say the same for other cultures and countries. Everyone has their own story to share, their own mistakes and know-hows to share with others.
I like to collect stories of other people and share mine.
