About Me

Hello everybody! My name is Antonella but all my friends call me Anto wich is shorter and nicer (my mom calls me Antonella whenever she's mad at me).
I'm a recently graduated graphic designer who's looking what to do with her life. I'm currently working for the Asociación Guías Argentinas (which is member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts) in the marketing and communication area.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A really adventorous friend of mine (Sapi ♥) told me that couchsurfing was an excellent tool for meeting new and interesting people from all over the world. She used it several times while travelling and had really cool experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

After guiding and drawing; music, movies and books are my favourite things in the world. I love listening to music and singing out loud (really loudly and really badly) I couldn't pick any genre to call it my favourite because I hear very differents types of music (I could listen to Sigur Ros and then maybe some Gaga or The Smiths, like, all in the same hour)
I love movies but I particulary like the ones that are a big fat cliché. For example I could say out loud all the dialogs of any movie of Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts. The Breakfast club? my bible.
In the matter of books, I'm all into magic realism. I began reading Julio Cortázar when I was a teen and then I couldn't stop. Currently reading anything Murakami writes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm about to do the most amazing and scary thing I've ever done: on January I'm moving to México to work for Guías de México A.C. (they are also members of WAGGGS), in the communication and marketing area of Nuestra Cabaña, which is one of the World Centres.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really enjoy getting to know people whos culture is different than mine. I'm an open mind person, ready to fill me up with new experiences and to step off my confort zone. I love to draw even if I'm not really good at it and I enjoy encouraging people to give it a try. I firmly bealieve in the collective construction of experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm an easygoing person, funny and accessible. I'm kind of a badass girl guide and I can cook pretty decent empanadas.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Uruguay
