About Me
ABOUT ME
We are both twenty and from Graz, Austria. We love to travel and meet new people and places and see other or different ways of living. We just graduated from high school and this year we decided to travel the world - after a roadtrip through the US and two weeks in Jamaica, we've now been travelling Asia for 4 months - exploring India, Laos, Vietnam and finally: China.
We're eager to see as much as possible - as new, old, small or big, quiet or busy different and familiar as possible. Other than that we don't need much.
Basically we're pretty laid back and open for everything.
PHILOSOPHY
still trying out different ones.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Every couchsurfing experience we've had so far has been fantastic and we're eager to meet more people!
We're on the road for the next year, however, so we can't host during that time, but we definitely will as soon as we have a couch.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Great experiences so far - surfing, brunching and being shown around by the nicest people.Hope we can return the favour sometime soon.
Interests
One of our biggest common interests is - obviously - travel. Three summers ago we went to Slovenia with another friend of ours by bike which took us 3 weeks.
Easy to guess, we like doing things connected to visiting other countries like visiting museums, reading local literature, getting a taste of the regional food, taking pictures or going to them, and so on.
Generally, our hobbies are pretty diverse - we like reading, movies, live music, theatre. We both play the guitar (but not well). We've both been doing sports back home - basketball and rock climbing - right now, however, we settled on jogging now and then (mostly then).

Music, Movies, and Books
hate this question...
Limiting the answer to to this trip we're currently very into documentaries and trying to see all the "classics". Well, and new movies too. Okay - see, it's a hard question!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Celebrating the Norweigan Midnight Sun on an island in the polar circle at a music festival. Cooking pasta in the Grand Canyon. Cedar Point (!). Seeing a jazz concert in Al Capone's Green Mill. Trying to surf in Jamaica. Celebrating Holi Festival in India and the Laos New Year. 4-day motorbike trip on the coast of Vietnam (and drinking their yoghurt coffee). Sipping tea in a "cat-café" (just like it sounds) in Bangkok.
Teach, Learn, Share
We're still having a bit of trouble with chopsticks, so... oh - and any Chinese you can get in our heads is greatly appreciated!
