Hi everyone! My name is Antonia, you can call me Tonie. :)
I am from Limassol, Cyprus and I am 30 years old.
I consider myself really open minded and I love to be around people who can accept almost anything different.

What made me finally decide to sign up for CS is the chance one can get to connect with people from all over the world! And helping out trevellers with there accomodation, or just keep them company when they visit your hometown.

I really love talking and sharing with people. Laugh and hang out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling, I want to travel the whole world. While growing up I trully believed that travelling is a common passion for a lot of people. Actually for everyone! But it seems like it's not. I know lots of people who don't realy care if the see anyting beyond their hometown. (I get a really weird feeling even thinking about it! :p )

My majour problem and number one reason why I do not travel as much as I want to, is the fact that my friends do not have the same need for travelling all over the world as me. So I 've decided to start solo travelling!

And staying with a local (or some who alreay lives in the city I am about to visit) sounds quit nice actually.

I truelly believe that CS can give you the chance to meet people, make new friends, learn about their culture, language, habbits and exchange experiences. It 's more than just staying at someones house and getting a free bed for the night.

I am affraid I cannot host a guest at the time myself, since I am still living with my parents. Don't hate me! I am not enjoying it! But whenever you are in Limassol, or in Cyprus generally, I would love to show you around. :)

I love music in general. All kinds depending on the mood.

I am obsessed with K dramas at the moment. Don't ask why! :p

I love reading books. My mind makes all these images. I believe I have a great imagination!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was working at a vegetables and salads farm and I found a dog, on a leash no longer that 10 cm tight on a tree. She could not even lie down properly, she rarely had food and her water... well ti looked dangerous to be honest!
I took her with me when leaving from work with the intension to take her to the vet and check if she was healthy or if she needed anything (health wise). After the vet I could not take her back, the idea of her in that place broke my heart. So I kept her until she found her forever home. A friend of mine adopted her and I know for sure that Marley (that's how we call her) is really happy.
