Hi, I'm Antonia. I grew up in Eichstätt (Bavaria, Germany), did my bachelor's degree in Health Education. Currently I'm studying Gerontology (M. Sc.). Since 2015 I try to escape winter in my winter holidays (february - april) by travelling to warmer countries or by visiting my host family in Australia. In my summer holidays (august - october) I usually work as a waitress in different beer-tents like the Octoberfest in Munich.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the concept and the spirit of the people participating couchsurfing! It's always exciting to get to know new people with their different opinions, aims, traditions and lifestyles. Interaction with different people can mean growing and developing for both sides - and that's what life offers.
I think exploring a foreign country is much more authentic when getting in contact with locals instead of staying in a hotel and isolate oneself.
