Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having trust - into people and everything that sorrounds me, might be difficult at first but it's worth it a thousand times!
As the person surfing, I think it's a great way to get in contact with the locals and take the chance to hear some fascinating stories. It gives you a different view on the countries you're visiting and the people living there.
That's what I'm expecting and hopefully I'll experience this great aspect of travelling very soon!
And as a host it's pretty much the same, opening up your home to the world, to great people, their thoughts, views and stories!

Music, Movies, and Books

appelsinpiken, perks of beeing a wallflower, Ifølge loven, into the wild, Die fabelhafte Welt der Amélie, Harry Potter, Die unerträgliche Leichtigkeit des Seins: just a few films and books that made me happy in one or another way. When it comes to music I mostly listen to folk/indie/rock and loads of great music in pretty much every other genre too, always best when it's live and when it comes from the heart :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

And going to the very northern end of Norway for sauna and a swim in the arctic ocean afterwards - literally super cool and so much fun!

Teach, Learn, Share

As a host I am happy to share my time, my home and culture, biscuits and pretty much everything I can help you with!

I can also teach you some german of course, and some basics of other languages. I also think that I can make some decent vegetarian or vegan food and I can knit a nice pair of socks, a scarf or a hat for the cold days (or teach you how to) :)
