About Me
Hi! I'm a 26 year old bookseller trainee from Austria.
I love traveling and meeting people from all around the world. I'm always full of ideas for new trips and adventures and there's actually a rather big one coming up very soon. After finishing my current training in July 2018, I want to say goodbye to my little European home and explore New Zealand and East Asia for at least a year.
As you might have guessed from my occupation, I like books and reading. I also love hiking and going on long walks. I think that walking is one of the best ways to explore the world, since you're not just hopping from one attraction to the next, but also experience all the important and authentic things that are in between.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love sharing my passion for traveling and learning more about countries and cultures. What better way to do that than by meeting locals?

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I usually always name Ezra Furman as my all time favorite musician, but I tend to go through phases where I obsessively listen to only one type of music and this could be any kind of music (classical music, hard rock, 80s pop, kpop,...literally anything)
Movies: I like a good drama, heist movies, "weird" movies and really bad movies (to have a good laugh). What I don't like are cheesy love stories, hollywood comedies and animated movies (exception: anime)
Books: I bascially like the same kind of genres that I mentioned at the movie category. My favorite book I read in 2017 was "The Vegetarian" by Han Kang.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I currently can't offer a place to sleep, but I'm happy to show you around at my hometown, go on a hike or a cycling tour, or simply meet for a cup of coffee to have a chat or some language exchange.
