Overview
About Me
I'm a summer person. Whenever it is warm and the sun is up, I can be found outdoors. I am curious to getting to know the people around me and I am definitely a team player. When it comes to languages, I am not extraordinarily talented but eager, that's why I learn rather quick.
Although I can be very organized when I have to, I like to spend my free time spontaneously. Working as an au-pair in Ireland and the US was one of those spontaneous decisions - and a very good one as well. :) I furthermore decided to study and live in Paris for one semester, which turned out to be very interesting as well.
I am a cheerful but calm person and, according to my friends, a reliable one as well. I enjoy being in a peaceful surrounding with open-minded people with whom I can share ideas and laughs.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is the most communicative way to travel. Also, I prefer trying out local habits when traveling and with Couchsurfing, I can avoid most of the activities that are too touristy.
Interests
I prefer living abroad to getting to know other cultures but life is too short, so I travel. Since I have been little, I liked to read culture and history books and the love for exploring other cultures just came naturally to it. That is also why I have finished my Bachelor in literature and culture and why I want to do my master in cultural heritage in Bologna/Italy. For three years now, I enjoy playing volleyball (also beach) and for two years I dance.
- salsa dancing
- volleyball
- languages and cultures
- bachata dancing
- kizomba dancing

Teach, Learn, Share
I love talking about contemporary French literature and cooking. I can teach German, English, and a little bit of French. I also can teach the basic steps of salsa and bachata. When it comes to learning, I am not choosy. Especially, I'd be interested in local dances, food, and dances.
