ABOUT ME

I am a 24 years old french man from the countryside of France, former student in game design & management.
It all started when I discovered Ireland lonesome for the months of August to September 2014 and was doing WWOOFing all around the country. I used to do hitchiking to travel cheaper and to meet people. It was probably the very moment I knew why I was travelling and why meeting people was so important to me.
Now I’m working as game designer, child dream ! I had to move to Paris a few years ago and now I’m enjoying new things like longboarding (is that even a word), rock dancing and film photography.
So if you see me hitchhiking along a road, please pick me up !

PHILOSOPHY

I had the opportunity to travel very young and I want to continue as much as possible for the sake of curiosity. My professional life is turning around the videogame industry, and I want to combine it with all the richness of other people and other cultures can share with me.
Sometimes, I feel a bit overwhelmed by what I could do, should do or not and just do a big leap of faith to surprise myself. Never been disappointed by all the hidden gems of life ever since :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can clean dishes, juggling with fruits, make you laugh, or even try to make a videogame just for you. I said try.
Well, if you need any help during my stay at your home, just ask me !
In another hand I have the chance to have a house on Paris where I can easily host people with my roommates. The thing is that Couchsurfing ISN'T a kind of free AirBnB: if you're using Couchsurfing it's mainly for meeting new people from different cultures, not for skipping expensive hotel fees!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

- I already participated to several Couchsurfing events in Dublin and Krakow.
- I've been hosted several times in Ireland, with both guys and girls.
- I usually host people with my roommates at home, and now in Paris.
- I also use Couchsurfing as a medium to meet people in every country I visit.

I love travelling, discovering new things, making and playing videogames! I listen a lot of various bands and music (from Ratatat to Parov Stelar), and I like discovering new places differently than by the "classic" way. Moreover, I'm absolutely fond of cinema and I'm watching a lot of movies, my favorites ones being Old Boy, Fight Club...
I do a lot of sport and I especially like hanging out with friends.

I’m really into movies, sometimes it happens that I spend a full evening at the theater, binge watching several movies at once. Some of the ones that impacted me the most are Fight Club, The Hunt, Paprika, Interstellar, Réalité, Mommy, and so many others...
Some of my favorites series are Utopia (what a soundtrack!), Bojack Horseman, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, House of Cards, Misfits, HIMYM, and a lot of others.

I just finished reading a few books of Bukowski, and have been really impressed by Orson Card’s Ender cycle. Kerouac's On The Road, I just finished 1984 and Brave New World, but more generally I’m really into books which deal with the all-day life. It could be very boring sometime but there are many which are depicting it in a really incredible way.

Oh and regarding games, well we’ll have to talk about that in person, it would be too long to describe ;)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I climbed Mont Blanc at 20, then the Croagh Patrick in Ireland by night on barefoot, I've done a one shot-18 hours car trip from France to Hungary then to Poland (and Berlin !), but the most amazing human thing I have ever seen was people who were laughing and singing during funerals in Bali.

The main thing I can share with everyone is my love of the things I love.
It can sound a bit silly because I don't pretend to know a lot of things, but I will definitely try to hand you over what is meaningful to me. Otherwise, I can initiate you to the occult art of the making of games and initiate you to rock dancing !

Maybe you are a musician, a worker, a technician or an artist, then maybe you could learn me things that are meaningful to you and I'll be really happy of that.
