About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to find the lost time

ABOUT ME

If you want to meet me, you should know that:
a)I'm the most distracted person ever, I'm a walking disaster, I loose something, loose the way, miss the train and the stuff like that 5 times a day
b)I love listening to the others, but I like talking about myself, and if we drink together, you will probably hear the story of my life
c)I love going out on Friday night and coming home on Sunday morning
d)I smoke. A lot. But don't worry, I'm ready to obbey to your rules about that
e)I'm 16 forever
f)I'm shy, just don't mind if I don't look at you while talking and I play with my hair instead, I'm just shy.

I'm often quiet and reflexive, even melancholic, but maybe more often I feel like partying, dancing and talking. I am very emotional- it's as easy to hurt me as to make me happy.

PHILOSOPHY

" To be surprised, to wonder, is to begin to understand. This is the
sport, the luxury, special to the intellectual man. The gesture
characteristic of his tribe consists in looking at the world with eyes
wide open in wonder. Everything in the world is strange and marvellous
to well-open eyes. This faculty of wonder is the delight refused to
your football "fan," and, on the other hand, is the one which leads
the intellectual man through life in the perpetual ecstasy of the
visionary. His special attribute is the wonder of the eyes. Hence it
was that the ancients gave Minerva her owl, the bird with ever-dazzled
eyes". (Ortega y Gasset)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly guest, I would like to do more hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For now really positive, I've met lots of interesting people (Gualtiero, Angelo, Donato --> you guys in particular), I only didn't like people who weren't saying what they really meant (God, why do you have to complicate thing? I won't run away crying or whatever).

Music, Movies, and Books

Books - too many to write, but for example Francois Rabelais, Arthur Rimbaud, Charles Baudelaire, Ramymond Queneau, Michel Houellebecq, Lewis Caroll, George Orwell, Aldous Huxley, Neil Gaiman, Philip K. Dick, Roger Zelazny, Umberto Eco, Italo Calvino, Alberto Moravia, Alfonso Gatto, J. A. Morsztyn, Witkacy, Witold Gombrowicz, Michał Witkowski, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Michail Bulhakov, Franz Kafka

Music

Joy Division, The Cure, Siouxie and The Banshees, Sex Pistols, Bauhaus, Belle and Sebastian, The Velvet Underground- but I'm really opened for all kinds of good music

Films - for first - classics of Italian cinema (Pasolini, Fellini, Antonioni e altra compagnia bella). Godard is a God, Kubrick and Tarantino forever.

I have a predilection for American series from 90s for outcasts: I never got over Jordan Catalano.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I think that the most incredible and beautiful things are before me...For now, it's a lonely month trip around Italy (country which I love maybe more than Italians do ;) ) during which I saw places I always wanted to see and much more, during which strange things, funny things, dangerous things, but mostly beautiful things happened to me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think I can teach Polish to foreginers- that's one of things I wanna do in the future and I'm learning it on y studies. Also can teach you basics of Italian- friends say that the results are very good.

I'd love to meet French and Italian speakers, 'cause I have to practice these languages a lot. I also have to improve my English.

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, Italy, Montenegro, Poland, Serbia, Ukraine
