About Me

I'm a student from Padova (Italy) and I'm doing a two years exchange in Nantes, but I grew up in an isolated village near to the border with Slovenia.
I enjoy having new experiences and changing my way of looking at the world. I'm an open-minded person and I like meeting people, but I also enjoy the solitude and the sound of wind during the winter nights.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new to couchsurfing, but I'm really interested in it. I'm getting annoyed by the common way of travelling, namely in that order: flight, hotel, attractions, photos to post on Facebook or Instagram and things like that, I think you know what I mean. So I'm looking for new ways to travel and I think that couchsurfing gives you the chance to get in touch with real people from the place you want to visit. This is the true meaning of travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like music, but I'm not a real expert. I like to listen to new music and often change genre, so, as an example here's a list of the albums I listened to in the last few days:
- Souvlaki - Slowdive
- Edith Piaf
- Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots - Flaming Lips
- Brand New Heavies
- There is Love in You - Four Tet
- Detrimentalist, My Love is a Caterpillar - Venetian Snares
- You're Dead! - Flying Lotus

Speaking of books, I usually prefer classics, but I admit I'm not a great reader...
The last books I red:
- La Peste - Albert Camus (reading in progress)
- Il maestro e Margherita - Michail Bulgakov
- Storia di un Corpo - Daniel Pennac
- 100 anni di solitudine - Gabriel García Márquez

My favorite films are:
- Trainspotting
- La Haine
- The princess Mononoke
- Enter the void
