About Me

I am a Business Administration Student at the University of St. Gallen, currently in my second year of Bachelors.

I am 75% Brazilian and 25% Italian. I grew up in Switzerland, in the beautiful and international city of Geneva.

On my free time, I write and sing songs of multiple genres, along with some poetry here and there.
I’m also a fan of DIY projects and I love designing stuff, not necessarily physical objects but also digital design (finally getting to apply those marketing concepts !).

Regarding sports, I have practiced english boxing for 3 years but otherwise I am all about wheels and a board. I love surfing, whether it its on the snow or on water (longboards love them too!). I started skiing when I was just a kid but quickly switched for snowboarding and now I’ve been surfing for 3 years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I live in a very big flat and have extra space but more specifically, I know that every type of housing in Switzerland is very expensive. So if you ever want to discover our little country, don’t hesitate to contact me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music-wise I am really open-minded. My favorite genre at the moment probably is EDM. I listen to almost all types of electronic music such as (Deep) Techno, (Future) House, Minimal.

I also listen to the Latin genre, Reggaeton, Salsa, Mambo, Dembo, Funk, Forró, Sertanejo, some of which I also know how to dance (Salsa, Forró, Sertanejo).

I am also a big fan of the Hip-Hop and R&B culture, old school, new wave and everything that’s in-between. I don’t only listen to english songs but also to French-speaking, Spanish-speaking and German-speaking artists and I love Afro-vibes and Afro music in general as well.

Obviously, this list wouldn’t be complete without Pop, Rock, Jazz, Blues, Soul, which I also listen to, ranging from old school classics to very recent groups, I like it all.

When it comes to movies, series and anime I guess this paragraph would never end if I would try to list everything that I have ever watched. Therefore, I will only state some of my favorite movies and series, together-with some of animes I am currently still following. Movies: Lord of The Rings Trilogy, 12 Years a Slave, Paid in Full. Series: Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, MindHunter. Anime: One Piece, Black Clover, Nanatsu no Taizai.

Some of my all time books: Game of Thrones, Born a Crime, Requiem of the American Dream, L’Étranger, Fahrenheit 451, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, Scottsboro.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I started learning Chinese last year, not sure what my level is now.

5 years ago, I did a volontariat in Croatia to build houses for the Christian minority living near the mountains.

Teach, Learn, Share

Concerning the places I have been to, I went to most of the European countries excluding the one way up north. Surprisingly I haven’t travelled much within South America, I went to Brazil over 12 times but only in Paraguay otherwise. I turned 21 in November, so I am bow ready for America haha! Concerning Asia, I spent one month in the Philippines and a week in Taiwan, hopefully I’ll get to visit Hong-Kong and Singapore soon.

I have recently created, together with my team, a student-based business oriented consulting non-profit association.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really love cooking and these are not my words but the food is delicious. My dad originally was a Chef so I got some knowledge from him but my mom really is the best cook on this planet. I don’t like following recipes, I trust my tastebuds and instinct to guide me every time I go grocery shopping and in the kitchen.
