Hi, everybody!
My name is Antonio and I'm a language enthusiast, that's also why right now I'm working as a language teacher. I'm extremely curious about other cultures and other life styles and I'm continuously seeking to expand my horizons.
I'm a little bit shy at first but , once broken ice, I can be pretty outgoing and talkative. I've got a quiet and calm personality, I'm friendly, respectful and usually accomodating unless I believe that someone is blatantly wrong.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like this website, I love the atmosphere. I've already hosted some travellers in the pest together with my roommate when I was in Turkey and it was a positive experience. I think that getting to know local people in this way while travelling allows you to make the best out of you trip, as it allows you to experience the culture first hand and maybe feel less as a tourist and a little bit more as part of that cultural context.

Interests

I like languages and everything that makes me feel a new person with a new identity. I'm a good listener and I like to know about other people's experiences.
I like good food and I like cooking. I love nature and everything connected to it.
I'm not really into sports but I like walking for long distances at a brisk pace in good company, if you can consider that a form of sport :P

Music, Movies, and Books

I like reading about philosophy, history and sometimes philology. I like reading fiction, especially in different languages.
I like every kind of movies except for horror movies and comedies. I appreciate it when a movie is also educational and you can draw a lesson out of it.
I'm not really selective when it comes to music, any kind of music can potentially attract my attention as far as the sound is interesting or has something peculiar to it.
