I am an engineer by profession and a photographer by passion, in recent times I have succeeded in capturing with my lens the highlights of great events that express all their Sicilian identity, an aspect that binds myself and Sicily together, firstly because I am a son of this land, but also for my love for the traditions that animate the island's culture and history.
In 2017 I went to Oman for work, I was fascinated by the magic and poetry that emanated from the sands of the desert and the silent but emotionally noisy and present lifestyle of the inhabitants of those regions.
I tried to capture by my camera the simplicity of that unpretentious life, with uses and customs of the past. I was impressed from that atmospheres and the kindness of Omani people and with the goal to keep alive in my heart all that time I made a photography exhibition titled Oman: five simple stories and a fable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet new people and visit new countries, with the aim to develop my archive of photos taken around the world. I would like also sharing with my guests all my knowledge about my land.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made many things out of normality in my life, maybe one of the most remarkable is when I stayed in Wahiba Sand Desert, into a tent, without air condition purposely, just to feel how local people live. The result I let you imagine: 50° degrees and strong feeling to die that night!

Sicily is a wonderful island in south of Italy, rich of history and tradition, natural beauties, sea, mountains and the biggest volcano in Europe called Etna. Everyone who travels finds in Sicily an amazing mix that will make the holiday unforgettable.
