ABOUT ME

I am brazilian, born and raised there, and moved to Boston in 2008 for PhD studies.
I am quite social. I fit the brazilian stereotype of liking soccer and Samba.

I am quite curious about how things work. I like to wonder about many topics (physics, biology, society, politics, people..). As time is not enough to explore everything, I end up focusing more in the biology side of it.

PHILOSOPHY

Those are some philosophical aspects wrote with my own words.

`Books are source of inspiration, but not the truth. The truth is in the real world.`
Our mind expands for every person we meet in our path. Well, couchsurfing sounds as a good place for it.

`it is not by reading a dictionary that you will become a good poet`. Sometimes we spend too much time learning technical skills, but forget to invest time to be creative.

`We respect people who think differently, we like people who think similarly and we are fascinated by people who make us think differently. However, we love the ones who make us stop thinking and just feel!`

`It is not the real life that should fit the theory, but the theory should be able to explain what happens in real life`.
