Overview
About Me
French Canadian introvert and passionate about the world. I worked in China for a time. It was great. I like history and biography books, learn languages. But can't keep motivation for it. Too many languages to learn in a lifetime.
I've been to Indonesia during winter 2023, where i've tried couchsurfing as a guest for the first time.
I'm willing to host if i have time. I have two dogs. I really like chihuahuas. These little devils are surprisingly lovely.
I live alone with my dogs, but I have many friends who turns around me. I like to go outside for a walk, a microbrewery beer. I live not very far from Sherbrooke downtown. There's parking where I live. Or you can park in the street. Also many bus lines around.
I really like my French language, I'm also fluent in English. Have some skills in Chinese, Spanish. Also interested by Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Indonesian.
I have a flag collection I'll show you with joy. It's one of my passion. To collect countries flags, but also political flags, regional flags, religious flags...

Music, Movies, and Books
I like history and biography books. I like great figures such as Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi, John F. Kennedy, leaders of modern China like Deng Xiaoping, Zhou Enlai.
I also like Quebec literature. Many of them are available in English if you want some recommendations.
History of Russia and USSR, modern China, India, WWII, Québec and Canada. Travel tales and self help books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Tuk Tu disco bar in Matagami, and also Robert Bourassa hydroelectric dam. These far and remote place in northern Quebec are awesome !
Quanzhou in Fujian, China, was pretty nice. A city with good food and great architecture. And unlike most Chinese cities, we can breath in Quanzhou. With human sized buildings and monuments. A southern holiday atmosphere.
