About Me

ABOUT ME

I like studying, I like talking, I like drinking and smoking. I listen mostly to brazilian music, but I like european electronic music and some funny songs from the 80's and the 90's - those we magicly remember when we listen, cause we never thought we would remeber, and then laugh a lot about it.
In brazil, I like to spend my freetime with some friends in the bar near my university and to hang out at night.
I study Social Sciences and I want to get specialyzed in anthropology, and this is, for me, the main reason I'm up to traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The fact of leaving your own country and going imerge in another culture is, for me, as much an exercise of cultural integration and respect as a very worthful way of self construction, of creating personal style, goals and of understanding your willings.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pasolini, Todd Solondz, Fight Club... Well, I'm not actually addict to cinema, but I like to watch a good movie once in a while.
I read a lot of brazilian and portuguese literature, but i like the french and the russian literatures as well. I like also the literature of the other countries of latin america, such as Argentina, Chile, Mexico. Of English literature I know little, i read Oscar Wilde, TS Elliot and Tolkien, I dont remember if I read more... Ah, and I like best the poetry

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An alligator in the middle of the street, in Rio de Janeiro. That was fucking crazy, the cars had to dribble him, and he was acting as if he was going to attack the cars, he opened his mouth and made some movements of attacking, but probably he was completely desperate... I was going to a party with a friend of mine who just had got his license to drive, we got a little panic, but he was able to drive off the alligator and we got to our party with no damages, for us at least, I don't know about the alligator!

Some waterfalls i've visited around brazil, in Pirenopolis, in the State of Goias, and in Aiuruoca, in the State of Minas Gerais

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn a little more about the Universe and its processes and its bigness.

And, oh, well, I think I can teach a little bit of portuguese, a little bit of brazilian culture and history, a little bit of sociology, anthropology, philosophy, I don't know... I think this is it
