If I could describe my life in a nutshell, that would be an inverted carpe diem! Extrovert, introvert...ambivert. Passionate for interesting people, places and cultures. Always a good listener and open-minded. I don't like labels, but I do like people. I don't like sitting unless it is to talk. Respectable, kind and always caring for the others, no matter what!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The right question would be, why not? I love this idea of newness. Being somewhere and meeting new people, building your knowledge from scratch about the others, through the eyes of the others, through your own eyes... Every journey is a new unexpected encounter of different people with different experiences. I just love it and be sure that I will love you, perfect stranger hiding somewhere out there!

Music, Movies, and Books

Although I am really into classical music, I do love pop, entechno, rock and all the different styles of music that exist out there. I really experiment and appreciate all the different sounds my ears can hear.

Movies. Oh, another weakness of mine. In fact, I want to study Film/ Cinema after graduating from my school. I love scandinavian and slavic cinema for the wonderful aesthetics and overall influence in the cinema world, I love drama, romance and social films but I can also enjoy a science fiction movie or a thriller with a bunch of good friends.

As for books, I study English Language and Literature, I am sure you can guess what's my relation with books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, volunteering is one of the things I really enjoy doing in my life. Hence, I would say that I've done not amazing things, but simple ones, for amazing people. Other than volunteering, I once, when travelling in Scotland helped a poor old man carry his shoppings to his apartment and I can swear I could write his biography afterwards, One other time, I protected a young woman in the bus from being harrassed by an old man who was staring at her like the devil and who knows what else I might come up with in the near future.

I can teach Greek , English, Italian and Russian and offer you the best insights in Greek modern culture, economy, society. I share my experience and knowledge from trivial to really important things regarding literature, travelling and life per se.
