ABOUT ME

Marco: Well, all about me it's too unspecified...let's say: i'm a guy curious about everything around him, who loves making new experiences and meeting new people.
i have many own interests, i like sports, talking about science but also everything else, or just hanging out with people!! I'm not necessarily easy to talk with, but i'm quite open-minded..
Sometimes I'm a little frantic, and i try to keep all situations under control, being a little bossy,suggesting people the "right" things to do according to me, and it's bad...i'm working on it to change!!

Grace : I might seem a bit reserved or shy, but I am friendly, silly and probably ridiculous once you know me well.

PHILOSOPHY

Marco: Well,i think we live once, so it's better to enjoy the time we have...;-)
In general I don't like blind-beliefs, or just fanatism in general, i love the freedom of saying whatever i prefer and i accept the same from other people..
"Live and let live"...but with the dickheads sometimes it becomes "live and let die". =)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We started last year and we had some experiences (let's say 10) being hosted and some less (not so much,but Grenoble is not exactly the capital of fun) hosting. the most of them were really good,some others just ok: i guess the difference is in the feeling you have with the host/guest: being helpful and polite is ok, and we think is the normal behaviour to do couchsurfing, but what turns a ok host/guest in a good one is the feeling you have, and it's a matetr of chacacter, you can't change it.
however we never had or give problems to people.

Interests

Marco: SCIENCE!, sports, chess, talking with people, good conersations, being silly...

Grace: I hate pancakes and crepes. I lovvve litchi, chocolate, and tacos de lyon. My favorite artists are the Beatles, John Mayer, Alison Krauss and Britney Spears.

Music, Movies, and Books

Marco

Music: rock,hard rock,metal, etc, but also some pop, etc...
Books: books that make me think i don't like too much just the novels..
Movies: the same than for books, maybe a lil big interest in the cyber-punk (Philip K. Dick, probs you know him)

Grace

Music: the Beatles, John Mayer, Alison Krauss and Britney Spears (sorry but I will not apologize for loving her.)

Movies: I guess my all time favorite movie is It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World. It's a comedy from the 60s, I used to watch it with my family all the time when I was a kid.

Books: Anything about Elizabeth I, anything written by John Irving.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Marco: Our life has never been so terribly adventurous,we've seen lots of small funny things but probably they're not so funny so be told in a profile...best stories are to be told in person!

Grace: Neither of us live in our native country. What's a bigger adventure than that?

Teach, Learn, Share

Well,actually i don't know if i have so many interesting stuff to teach...i like talking about "life",but i don't like at all people who pretend to teach,it's quite arrogant according to me.
i'm quite passionate of history,maybe i could teach something, or just talking with you if you are interested too..
I could teach some chemistry,but i guess not so many people are interested =(
i can try to teach italian or french (it depends on my guest..), or i could try to teach/let u try with me some mountain sport: climbing (i'm just a beginner) skiing (quite good) or via ferrata (beginner)..for the bravest,i can try to teach u how to play chess!! =)
Or just i could hang out with you and my friends! ;-)

Grace : I could teach you American kids songs!
