About Me

ABOUT ME

What's up everybody! So just a little bit about me. I love capoeira and have been doing it for a few years now and have been helping to teach it here in Daegu. If you don't know about capoeira, it's a martial art from Brazil which incorporates martial arts, dance, and music all into one. I also like to dance and get down to a bit of salsa dancing but especially love bachata. I've been doing that for quite some but always feel I can get better. I love mountain biking as well but haven't had a chance to do that for quite sometime, and also enjoy the outdoors, love listening to music and going to see live shows, reading and hanging out with my beautiful friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat everyone how you want to be treated. It's so basic but so true.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As for any couching surfing experience now, I have none since I have just really started. I am very excited though to be able to meet new people, share experiences and just have a great time traveling and living life. It would be great to finally get my first couch underneath my belt.

Interests

I love dancing very much especially Salsa and Bachata. I am not that great but when the music moves you, you just have to go out there and dance. I also have been doing Capoeira for about 3 years and it is a beautiful martial. I love traveling and am blessed to have had the opportunity to travel to a few places. I also enjoy mountain biking, hiking, camping and just got into climbing which is pretty scary but an awsome rush.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering at Peroba Orphanage in Brazil. It was an amazing and life changing experience. I was able to connect with so many great people and wonderful children. It openend my eyes to the world's beauty but also discovered that there are so many good things that can be done.

Teach, Learn, Share

The reason I love traveling so much is because you meet people from all over the globe; diverse people, with different backgrounds, cultures, ideas and opinions. Through this diversity you can get both different and similar perspectives, but this is where the beauty of it all comes in. Through conversation and discussions, agreements or disagreements; we grow, learn, and gain wisdom.
