CURRENT MISSION

I guess, if we look at the big picture, my current mission is to get a better idea of what my place is in this vast world. However, for the moment, I am working and saving money for future travels and studies.

ABOUT ME

I am an energetic yet peaceful person from the idyllic (in summertime that is; the winter cold can be rather... inhospitable, if you like) regions southern Dalarna in central Sweden. I love spending time with all the amazing people out there, but also enjoy a quiet night alone to reflect upon things and settle down.

PHILOSOPHY

I really can't say that I relate to any specific religion, but I sincerely believe that each and everyone of us should dedicate our lives to what we think and feel is honest and meaningful, and to do what truly makes us happy. I also believe we (at least in the western world) need to learn how to stop spending money we don't have on things we don't need to create impressions that won't last on people we don't care about. Live life simple and cherish what you have.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to spread peace and love and share some awesome times with new people by visiting other hosts here on couchsurfing while I'm on my travels! I still live with my parents though, so I'm afraid offering a couch here would be more or less problematic... But certainly not impossible!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just recently signed up, so I have none so far (apart from sleep overs with friends, but that hardly counts). I hope to have some experience soon though!

兴趣

I absolutely love music. I enjoy pretty much any genre really, but the kind of tunes that always has, and always will, make my heart beat faster is found in energetic and melodic subgenres of rock, punk and metal. I write music myself which really captures just that (you may look it up at facebook.com/fromthinair if you feel like it!).

I also love spending time outdoors, just wandering in the woods with friends, hiking, starting a small fire and getting all cozy. :)

Even though I listen a lot to energetic rock music, I also love jazz, blues, reggae and similar genres.

I'm not too much of a movie maniac, but I enjoy a good comedy or an interesting documentary.

I actually rarely finish a book, but when I read I prefer something interesting, philosophical and spiritual, or just something thrilling with suspense.

I enjoy the small things in life. ;) (Yes, I wrote that because I can't seem to come up with anything extraordinary that I've done.)

For instance, I know one thing or two about playing guitar (along with other instruments as well). I could teach you, and maybe you can teach me if you play an instrument!

I'd love to learn about living a "simpler" life, if you like. Getting closer to nature.
