A New Zealander who has been living abroad for 5 years, I am now Melbourne-based and working hard. My main focus right now is my artwork, I specialise in highly detailed illustrated cartography (www.antonthomasart.com). I am also a musician, with a very blues and soul orientated style. I have lived across Australia, the US and Canada over the last 5 years, and surfed a lot during this time. While I am currently pretty well stationary in Melbourne (apart from holidays and road trips), I am very eager for the next time I throw a backpack on and get traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been surfing ever since an incredible life-long friendship was forged in New Orleans, the first time I used the site. Since then I've surfed as much as possible, as well as hosting a bit with my roommate while I was in Montreal. At the moment I'm not particularly active in the community, but I am always open to communication with all the wonderful people out there.
