I'm a student curious soul. Interested in a million different things! I sometimes joke that I'm a professional dabbler. I'm pretty sociable and love meeting new people and exchanging different ideas and experiences. I have a part-time job as an English and German teacher in Russia. At the moment I'm into learning IT and also skiing, reading, cooking, watching good movies, and exploring the outdoors.

I grew up in Russia, Kirzhach. Small countryside town in North East from Moscow. Severe winters, hot summers. Anyway, it is a good place to be born. Right now, I’m in Italy for the last year while completing my Master in Digital and Public Humanities . Not sure what life holds next but I'm excited to explore the possibilities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in the idea of putting in what you get out. My amazing travels made me to open my house so I can pretend I am still travelling by meeting other travellers, sharing their stories and suggesting things to do in my city that they might not know about.

I want to help as many people as I can by offering my house to travellers who head to Italy or Russia. Weekends are also my time to catch up on life, so it might be hard to host you on the weekend unless you say that you want to go out with me in the evenings.

When I travel, I want to meet awesome people who can show me the quirky things about their home, I like going out at night just to a pub or rock music bar. I want to see the city during the day, if we can, maybe find actives to do together unless my host is too busy with work or something else.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In my 19s I traveled alone from NYC to LA by bus. That was crazy for ordinary Russian student, who didn’t even speak English well. I met a lot of gentle people and went deep inside of couture futures. Hiking, kayaking, rafting and etc. This kicked me to start traveling the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

It would be really great if I'm able to spend some time with whoever it is I'm staying with as I think our time is one of the greatest things we can share. I understand this can't always be the case though due to peoples busy schedules.
