About Me

What can I say? It's hard to get to know someone by reading a profile, but I will try to give you a peek into the window of my little soul...

Well, I love to write. I love to share and I love to feel my way through life, so I put those things together and find that its a great way to inspire yourself and others. I am preparing a blog and I hope to touch the lives of others in as many ways that I can.

I believe that life is short and we make it shorter by stressing, so I try to find a balance in life and encourage others to do the same.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing because it's a great way to meet new people, share my story and become part of yours. I am dumbfounded by the way that life has opened me to so many new opportunities just by taking the time to talk and meet new people with an open mind. I am all for community sharing and believe it makes society a better place.

I live in London, but I spend a couple of days each week in Ipswich for work, where I help to divert young kids away from gang life. It would be nice to save a little money because the cost of travel almost halves my salary.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music, from Psytrance to Classical. I have a thing for Latino and Spanish music, but I appreciate music from all cultures and genres. I don't believe there is such thing as bad music, just the wrong mood or occasion to listen to it.

Some of my favorite book titles are "The Power of Now", "Thinking Fast and Thinking Slow" and "The Better Angels of our Nature", to name but a few.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Why just one? I am not into the glamorous hype of things. I think that some of the greatest things we do are the little things that go unnoticed...

Some of my proudest achievements are: Keeping a journal for 4.5 years; taking the time to get to know myself in silence to discover who I really am; mending hearts; being there for someone; giving my time to strangers, just to make their lives a little better; a bungee jump.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am preparing to write a book that I hope will help guide people into living a simpler and happier life. A way to better understand yourself and to become the best version of yourself.

I love connection and advocate developing a deeper connection with yourself and others.

I am open to learning anything new and hope to learn something new on all my travels.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation, a light and gentle spirit. Good ideas, a friendly warm atmosphere.

I have a good business mind and enjoy strategy, so you can always pick my brain.

I am very caring and supporting, so I can always sit and listen, if there is something you want to free yourself from, even if you don't want advice, just to vent.

and maybe, just maybe, I can cook a lovely meal for us all.
