Travelling and living through music
ABOUT ME
I'd say I am an easy-living folk who enjoys good things of life.
I am now taking a year for travelling around the world, encountering new people and seeing other ways of living. I am from a small village in Quebec, which I am very proud of. I like to take my time to do things well, taking it easy.
What else... I guess the best way to know me is to spend some time with me around.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe human beings have enough conscience of themselves to find solutions to the biggest issues of our time, and find a way to live better within themselves and nature. Many ways of thought can bring pieces of answers, and I like to meet people that are engaged in making their world better in their way and on an everyday basis.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I think couchsurfing is a great way to travel encountering new people and sharing. As much as I appreciate being received by people, I love to receive at home and help other travellers, giving back what I have received.
Interests
I am a guitar player and I also sing. I am a music lover, and I'd say that's what I'm engaged the most in. I regularly play in bars in Quebec, and I like to converse in music with new folks while travelling. I also practice busking as a way to earn a bit of spare change on the road.
I also love eating and cooking. I cook most of what I eat and I buy bio and local as much as I can. I love baking bread, I one of my future plans would be to have a small bakery. As I really enjoy good food, gardening is also a pleasure for me. Back in Quebec, I make a garden every summer, and I learn new things about gardening everyday.
I'm also engaged in political issues that concern the world as much as my community. Anthropology fascinates me ; history as well.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to as much music as I can. I notably love folk, blues, rock'n'roll, jazz and latin music.
I try to read books that are as diverse as possible. Novels, short stories, theaters, essays, historic and politics, philosophy, and all and all...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling around, meeting people and having some wonderful spontanious music jams always leave me awstruck and fill me with happiness. You realise how unique and fulfiling that kind of moment was only in days that follow it, and you know the memory will stay with you till forever.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to share moments in music, giving as much as I can to the people around me.
There's so much I don't know! Any passion can be interesting. These days I've been interested in photography and theatre.
