About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Improve my english!

ABOUT ME

I'm a 28 years old french guy, from the South of France (but now I live in the North). I lived near 3 years in South America, in Cayenne (french Guyana) and Santiago (Chile). So I have a good experience of South America!

PHILOSOPHY

"An argument in favour of travel is that it increases awarness, not of exotic places but of home as a place." Yi-Fu Tuan

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For the moment... nothing! But I hope it will be great.

Interests

I'm curious, so I have some centers of interest: music, movies, travels, diving, capoeira, hikking...

  • capoeira
  • movies
  • traveling
  • music
  • scuba diving

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: electo trip-hop music, like RJD2, Chinese man, Wax Taylor... Some french music groups: Caravan palace, Les ogres de Barback or Juliette (not exactly a band) or M, Thomas Fersen and... well so much! A group of Chile very good: la banda conmocion.

Movies, I like the movies a little bit crazy like the movies of Tim Burton (at the beginning) or Terry Gilliam. Jean-Pierre Jeunet movie's (La Cité des enfants perdus). And Fight Club. And Requiem for a dream (but so sad...)

Books: the saga Malaussène of Pennac, En attendant Godot of Beckett, The old man and the sea of Hemingway, le Petit Prince of Saint Exupéry, and... well, a few others...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most incredible... Well, I don't know if it was the most incredible, but now, I think it was the most funny (I didn't think that before): to put a 4x2 in the sand and stay, waiting some help, in the desert the most arid of the world: Atacama.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want, I can explain how work the stock assesment for a fishery but it's a little boring.

But if you want to learn some french, I can help you!
